my research
I study the evolutionary histories of various plant groups, including western North American junipers and the tropical understory Piper genus. My research is driven by my interests in biotic and abiotic drivers of diversification, hybridization and its role in evolution, and plant-insect interactions.
Currently, I am a PhD student in Tom Parchman's lab at the University of Nevada, Reno.
